One of the truly tasty delights of Mexico is Tacos al Pastor. Having been to Mexico City, Tijuana, and several other cities in Mexico, I can say that the Tacos al Pastor at Tacqueria Tachingón are just as good as many of the Tacqueria's in Mexico. The Gringas are also fantastic with Pastor y Piña. I highly recommend the Tacos al Pastor with Piña. You won't be disappointed! This place is a hole in the wall type of place, but don't let that scare you away. The owners are very nice and service was very good. I definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic food, this is my new favorite Mexican spot in Tampa! I had the El Pastor Alambre, and the Volcan Cicena. Both were great, but the Pastor is really the star of the show here. In addition to great food, the staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an authentic spot, but it is clean and well maintained. A top recommendation.

I’m constantly searching for some legitimate Mexican tacos and there are some great contender in the Tampa Bay area. However, I’m think I found a winner in TaChingón. Sometimes, it’s just about simple, natural ingredients and food that is made in the moment by culinary experts who have handed down familial recipes from one generation to the next. A very simple menu, no guac , no queso dip, no chips. Just tacos , tostadas, and a few other options just like it would be in Guerrero. Located in an unassuming strip mall on Waters Ave, you never would know that you’re in for one of the best bites in town. Great service, tons of smiles, great food, and GREAT prices. (7 tacos, 2 drinks, for $35). Needless to say, I’ll be back.

Wanted some Mexican food after going to the zoo and we are so glad we stopped in! Monica and Slyvia were the absolute best! Such authentic Mexican food and very very friendly service. Easily some of the best and tastiest Mexican food we have had here in Florida. Please come here, I wish we didn’t live 1.5 hours away!!!

Omg omg omg!!!!! HIDDEN GEM! This place is a little sketchy when you first walk in, not knowing if it’s a restaurant or grocery store, but the staff is so friendly, the waitress was polite and attentive, their hot sauces are BOMB, and their tacos are delicious! My whole family LOVED the food! We will certainly come here again.

Best tacos I had in a long time! The Al pastor and cecina were my favorite ones. I will definitely be coming more often for lunch Staff was very friendly and recommended the right tacos. Salsa was also very flavorful with a nice kick unlike the usual water down salsas you get at other places. 10/0 recommended.
